We are proud and honored to have been serving Rochester all these years. Clover was incorporated in 1962 and located on Walzer Road. Our first pool retail store was opened in 1968 on Ridge Road East, but before that Clover's founder, Hal Hummel entered the pool business in 1950 on a part time basis. Hal was one of a handful of pioneers of vinyl liner installations. Being a hard working entrepreneur and believing in the American Dream, Hal went from building filters out of his basement to opening the first store location on Walzer Road in Irondequoit.
Clover quickly grew and in 1968 we moved to the Ridge Road East for our first retail store location (Now LA Fitness). Where we were until 1992.
With a growing customer base and branching out into other categories like, hot tubs and patio furniture, it wasn't long before we had to move to a larger location. Luckily, just down the road. Currently at 960 Ridge Road East.
Building long term relationships has always been one of our top priorities. Our professional staff are the most experienced in Rochester, many who have spent their entire working careers here and nothing can replace their work ethic, loyalty and willingness to learn which allows them to always best serve our customers! We are proud to still be located in Irondequoit for over 50 years and hope you can help us continue to grow, provide local jobs, and serve our city that we all call home.
